Gamification

Gamification is a methodology that focuses on learning in a playful and fun way, which is more conducive to the correct learning of students, so the work processes can be more efficient and productive because learning is done through games.

With this methodology, students are more motivated and will have a greater interest in learning, since it will be fun to use the games to learn. Basically what we call educational gamification makes a union between the concepts of gamification and learning. Because it seeks to improve learning processes based on the use of the game, in this case of video games to make more effective the development of teaching-learning processes to facilitate cohesion, integration, motivation for content, such way that the creativity of the individuals are improved.

On the other hand, it is convenient to leave aside the negative points of view about the use of games for education because one of the greatest potentials of these within education is to awaken the curiosity to know, develop skills, strengthen self-esteem, self-esteem and the community. Therefore, with gamification is achieved, in addition to keeping students motivated, to solve problems such as dispersion, inactivity, lack of compression or the feeling of difficulty that involves the student.
