Tangram

The tangram is a game that has its origin in China. In the school we can use it throughout the primary stage since it can be used with great versatility. Depending on the age that will be focused, a series of activities and others can be done.

This didactic material consists of seven elements that are five triangles of different sizes, one square and one parallelogram, all these figures form a square.

With this resource, the students, besides learning to recognize geometric figures, to make turns and displacements of the figures in order to form a new one, we can focus more on the contents of the measurements. You can perform different activities in which students experiment with this material and with different ways of measuring. You can also enter the measurement changes.

With this resource we can treat many aspects of the measure in the classroom in a playful aspect out of the ordinary and that students are accustomed to and can be more motivating to them.
